Terms and Conditions — PyCon Ireland 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of tickets and attendance at PyCon Ireland 2026 (“the Event”), organised by Python Ireland Developers CLG (“Python Ireland”), taking place on 17 October 2026 at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

By purchasing a ticket or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Tickets

Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless explicitly agreed in writing by Python Ireland. Each ticket grants access to all conference activities on the day of the Event, including talks, workshops, and catering as described at the time of purchase.

Tickets must be presented (printed or digital) at the entrance. Python Ireland reserves the right to refuse entry to any person unable to produce a valid ticket.

Refund Policy

Ticket refund requests must be submitted by email to [email protected].

  • Requests made more than 30 days before the Event will receive a full refund.
  • Requests made between 15 and 30 days before the Event will receive a 50% refund.
  • Requests made fewer than 15 days before the Event are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days.

Event Changes and Cancellation

Python Ireland reserves the right to make changes to the Event programme, speakers, or schedule at any time. In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to force majeure, public health emergencies, or venue unavailability), Python Ireland will offer ticket holders a full refund or a credit toward a future event.

Photography and Recording

The Event may be photographed and recorded. By attending, you consent to your image and voice being captured and used for promotional and archival purposes by Python Ireland. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform a member of staff at the registration desk.

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers are required to comply with the Code of Conduct at all times. Python Ireland reserves the right to remove any person found to be in violation of the Code of Conduct without a refund.

Liability

Python Ireland shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense suffered by attendees in connection with the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Attendees are responsible for their own belongings throughout the Event.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available on a per-request basis, subject to availability, with a cap of €350 per recipient. Priority is given to applicants based in Ireland or the United Kingdom. Applications are assessed at the discretion of the organising committee. Decisions are final.
